J.d.'s Healed Arteries

In 1989 J.D. suffered a massive heart attacked and survived. A year ago he started having occasional chest pain so his doctor ordered a nuclear dye test, and an echo test. The results showed some of his arteries were blocked.

He had his knee operated on January 28, 2011 and because of his past history of heart attack they put him in the Coronary Care unit. He complained of chest pain and as a result they performed further tests, which showed his arteries were still blocked. One artery showed a blockage of 55% and 45% in the other.

While waiting for the results of the test a man came into his room.

This man had shoulder length auburn hair, and hazel eyes, but his facial features for some reason were not very clear. He wore a doctor’s coat, and as he approached J.D. he asked him what he was in there for.

J.D. told him about the pain he kept getting in his chest and what the tests had revealed, blocked arteries. The man placed his hand above his heart, and as he did so, a warm sensation spread across his chest.

The man looked at J.D. and told him he was going to be ok. Then turned around and walked out the door. A nurse came into the room in time to hear her patient talking, and she asked him who he was talking to.

“The doctor who was just here”. J.D. looked at the nurse and smiled.

“What doctor, there is no one around,” the nurse looked up and down the corridor seeing no one.

He relayed what the man had said to him, wondering who the man was. The results of the echo test came back all clear, both arteries were clear.

Was the man Jesus? Does God still walk in hospitals and put his hands on people and heal them, yes!

I know my Lord and Saviour is still in the miracle working business today.
Catharine Leona Joy Minter Parks was born in Chatham Ontario to a Canadian mother and an American father.

Her early childhood was spent in the church under a strict upbringing but at an early age started to desire more. With an adventuresome spirit she would join her brother in escaping the house after bedtime and going downtown with him to dances, plays and the movies, to enjoy all the things that her religious parents denied her.

Catharine's love of words started from early childhood when she would make up words and songs. In 1983 she was gifted with songwriting and recorded several songs of her own as well as the song, Proud to be Canadian.

On January 25, 2007, she published her first devotional, A Glimpse of the Cross, on the Mustard Seed Ministries Site. Cliffhanger was published in Fate Magazine Nov. 2007
