The Offending Underwear

I draw a memory from my childhood, a time of embarrassment and humor. Although at the time, funny it was not. I was tall for my nine years, and very thin, with long gangly arms. My short black hair did nothing to take away from my self-conscious overbite. I was an overly sensitive and nervous child. My mother walked into my room. She told me we were going downtown, and to get dressed. She pointed to a red plaid dress hanging... (posted by catydid52 1 year 31 days ago.)
Dreaming on Time

Dreaming numbers is a gift, it should not be taken lightly. It is a rare gift that my husband has, dreaming numbers and even getting them while awake. Sometimes it occurs when he would be watching television and numbers will start to float in his head. It is like flashes of thought that pass through a person’s mind. He compares it to looking off into space, only to catch himself daydreaming... (posted by catydid52 1 year 31 days ago.)
J.d.'s Healed Arteries

My mother passed from this life at 5.55 a.m. Being at the hospital daily was hard but necessary. When God allows a little time with the family before He calls our loved ones home, there is a reason. Some of those reasons include healing for family members, last messages of hope and love, and the... (posted by catydid52 1 year 43 days ago.)
My Courageous Mother

There have been new developments within my family that compel me to write about my mother’s battle with Lymphoma cancer. My mother is battling the last stages of lymphoma cancer. This is her third go around with the disease. Some of the cancer cells that have survived previous treatments have come back with a vengeance stronger and with a faster destructive force than ever. She has numerous tumors in her abdomen, and some... (posted by catydid52 1 year 56 days ago.)
People Turn a Blind Eye to the Blind

It never ceases to amaze me how uncaring and selfish this world is becoming. Are there any compassionate people left in this universe. They seem to be few and far in between. Today I was on my way home from grocery shopping, as I pulled my shopping cart behind me, I reveled in the warm weather and the snow less sidewalks for the first time in three weeks. I nearly reached the corner where the sidewalk ended, and... (posted by catydid52 1 year 96 days ago.)
